Too Bad the President feels compelled to comment on criminal cases. From the gang bangers in Chicago that gunned down a girl - good student - waiting at a bus stop, to college profs getting arrested on their own front porch, to the Connecticutt school shooting, to the Treyvon killing. When did it become Presidential to start monitoring and commenting on local crimes? Go back to presidents 20 years ago and farther back. I don't remember Presidents dealing with local crimes. With the huge crime wave in the 1930's, they established the FBI and turned 'em loose on crime. The Pres didn't feel compelled to make speeches about each major event, and there were many.
